Addressing Poverty in Underprivileged Coptic Communities in Egypt

Coptic Cross Ministries is a Virginia-based Christian nonprofit that partners with the Coptic Church in Egypt to empower underprivileged Coptic Christians. Our work addresses poverty, which heightens vulnerability to religious intolerance, increases health risks, and undermines community and family ties.

TESTIMONIALS

"I'm 10 years old. My brother and I used to feel cold sleeping on blankets on the floor every night. Now, with our beds, mattresses, and pillows, we stay warm and comfortable."
Mariam
"The wheelchair, lift, and sore-prevention mattress have made it much easier for my wife to care for me at home and have helped reduce my pain. I’m also noticing significant healing in my six bedsores."
Wael
"Thanks to your support, my children can now enjoy quality meals. Previously, we relied on lentils and seeds for protein, which they didn’t enjoy. Now, they have access to a variety of foods."

A Heartfelt Mission in Egypt

We are thrilled to report on our recent mission trip to Egypt, which ran from May 8 to August 24, 2024. Thanks to your incredible support, we had the privilege of visiting 13 villages in Upper Egypt and 5 areas in Cairo. Together, we provided essential aid to over 250 families facing challenges such as disability, illness, and widowhood. Your generosity allowed us to deliver monthly food assistance, medical supplies, debt relief, and even support for small business initiatives. Each contribution has made a lasting difference in the lives of those we serve.
