Who We Are

Coptic Cross Ministries

Serving Coptic families in Egypt who face disability and illness

Coptic Cross Ministries is a Christian nonprofit based in the United States, founded in 2021 and grounded in the Gospel call to care for “the least of these” (Matthew 25:40). The word Coptic simply means Christian Egyptian. Working hand in hand with Coptic churches across Egypt’s poorest communities, we walk alongside families whose lives have been turned by disability and illness, restoring health, dignity, and hope in the name of Christ.

The Families We Serve

Across Egypt, thousands of Coptic families live in deep hardship, and the weight falls hardest on those facing disability and serious illness. When a parent can no longer work, or a loved one needs constant care, everything else begins to give way. Food becomes scarce, medical bills go unpaid, and children are pulled out of school. We believe every one of these families bears the image of God and deserves to be met with compassion and respect. That is why we are here.

Before we welcome a family into our care, their local church refers them to us, and our volunteers in Egypt visit the home and complete a full case study to understand their true need.

314 people living with disability have received medical equipment and care.
1,587 children from families facing disability and illness have received Bibles, school supplies, and financial support.
76 families have launched small businesses of their own.
816 families have received financial aid, furniture, appliances, home repairs, debt relief, and wedding support.
