Our Mission in Action: Organization Goals
At Coptic Cross Ministries, our core goal is to break the cycle of poverty for Coptic Christian families in Egypt by providing sustainable, compassionate, and Christ-centered support. Working in collaboration with the Coptic Church in Egypt, we serve some of the country’s most vulnerable families—those affected by disability, chronic illness, widowhood, or extreme poverty.
We believe that poverty not only threatens health and well-being but also increases vulnerability to religious discrimination and erodes family and community stability. Our mission is to restore dignity, stability, and hope through practical, life-changing programs.
Our Key Goals:
1. Provide Monthly Food Assistance to At-Risk Families
Our top priority is to ensure that families suffering from food insecurity receive consistent, nutritious support. Many of these families include children who are visibly undernourished due to financial hardship. Our goal is to expand this program to serve more households each year and alleviate the physical and emotional burden of hunger.
2. Improve Quality of Life for People with Disabilities
We aim to deliver medical treatment, medications, surgeries, and essential mobility devices to individuals with physical challenges. In addition, we fund home modifications that make daily life safer and more accessible. Our goal is to reduce preventable injuries and improve long-term quality of life for people with disabilities.
3. Relieving Financial Burdens for Families in Crisis
Through targeted financial assistance, we provide basic necessities such as clothing, appliances, furniture, home repairs, debt relief, and wedding support for young women. Our goal is to restore a sense of security and dignity to families living in extremely difficult conditions.
4. Promote Self-Sufficiency Through Small Business Aid
We believe in empowering families to thrive, not just survive. Our goal is to help individuals launch or stabilize small businesses that provide a sustainable income. By offering resources, training, and follow-up, we give families the opportunity to become self-reliant and escape long-term poverty.
5. Equip and Uplift Underprivileged Children
We seek to provide children with school supplies, Bibles, medical care, and essential items like beds and clothing. Our goal is to support children’s physical, academic, emotional, and spiritual development—helping them grow in the love of Christ while preparing them for a brighter future.
Our long-term goal is to build a stronger, more resilient Coptic Christian community in Egypt—one where no child goes hungry, no family is forgotten, and every person has the opportunity to live with dignity, health, and hope.
With the continued support of donors and partners, we are committed to expanding our reach, increasing program impact, and transforming lives through faith and service.
