Restoring Mobility, Health, and Dignity
For Copts living with disability and illness in Egypt, the lack of basic medical equipment can turn everyday life into a daily risk. Many depend on loved ones for the simplest needs and face injury without the right support.
Through home visits and in-person case studies, we assess each person’s medical needs and provide the equipment and care that restore safety and dignity. With our donors’ support, we have provided manual and electric wheelchairs, restroom wheelchairs, crutches and walkers, medical lifts, pressure-relieving mattresses, and essential medications and surgeries.
We do more than deliver equipment. Each family is paired with a church volunteer who serves as their case manager, and in critical situations a specialized team of a doctor, pharmacist, nurse, and counselor steps in. We install equipment, train families to use and maintain it, repair devices when needed, and inspect homes for safety modifications that prevent falls and injuries.
